Groundworks grew from $30 million in revenue to over $1 billion. The company stands out for its commitment to providing opportunities and ownership to its largely blue-collar workforce. The company's commitment to providing opportunities for its #1 asset should not be a fad.  Groundworks is a great example of placing significant emphasis on honoring employees, who are traditionally undervalued in corporate structures. Companies perceive employee reliability similarly, as this video for contractors outlines. Perception is the beginning of the end. It enables a lack of trust, and now we have a lack of talent because of it.  Not trusting your employees is a self-serving dilemma. Let's change the narrative.
