This weekend I'll be competing in my first HYROX event with one of my best mates Andrew Warnock It's the fitness competition everyone seems to be talking about, but why? There seem to be a few factors driving its incredible growth 🌍 Accessibility: The appeal is that the exercises are ones anyone can do. This means the participants are more diverse than the likes of CrossFit and it gives everyone a place to showcase their fitness in a less intimidating setting. 📈 Measurement: People love to benchmark, track PBs and quote world records. The fact it is a set workout that doesn't change from year to year drives so much engagement. Apparently, it's a 'thing' now to bag Hyrox events around the world. 📣 Brand: "The Fitness Competition for Every Body" - Hyrox is clear on its objective and puts it front and centre. They've invested in a strong brand online and at their events that everyone can recognise and get behind. All of this has led to a 1000% increase in participation in the past five years and in 2023 they had 90,000 athletes & 50,000 spectators. They are targeting 1,000,000 by 2027! There must be a bunch of learnings that the sports community can take from this. Perhaps that can be a future post 😅
See you there mate
A future space for Fanbase to manage the spectator ticketing?!
I’ll be judging Sled Push on Saturday. See you guys there!
#SocialJTBD :-D
Hyrox's focus on community and accessibility is undoubtedly driving its growth. Good luck in your event!

8moBrands win when they make it about their community, not themselevs. Hyrox is a great example of putting the audience at the heart of what they do ✅ Go well lads 🙌
