Earth-a-thon 2024 is here! Since launching its open-source platform in 2018, DemocracyLab has convened more than 30 tech-for-good hackathons aimed at supporting public interest technology. These hackathons have allowed projects to execute a narrow scope of work and make incremental progress toward their long term goals, and volunteers to begin long-term relationships with impactful projects while upskilling and advancing their careers. The Earth-a-thon is another such opportunity for project leaders and volunteers to collaborate and build technology that helps the planet.
