Great perspective for sure. Also one needs to realize that Saudi Arabia is trying to accelerate the relative slow modernization and cultural change, before #mbs with an unprecedented speed and scale. These reduced timelines would always mean higher delivery pressures and increased capital burn-rate. We should also commend the current leadership of #KSA for their proactive and nimble approach in reallocating budgets as necessary. This shows that they are not just trying to make future a reality at the expense of present. Contrary to psychological bias of “escalation commitment” that most leadership is prone to. Remember, Success and Failure are part of a long journey, and these terms alone don’t capture the complexity of the process.
