We’re jumping for joy this #CommunityFeatureFriday as we celebrate the grand opening of Nollie! As of August 1st, our doors are officially open, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome new residents. This is a significant milestone especially as we continue to make strides with our second site in Tempe, Arizona. City of Littleton, welcome to Urban SDK!
The city currently has a five-step traffic calming process of:
1) Citizen Complaint / Call to Action
2) Information Gathering
3) Temporary, Pop-Up Solution
4) Pilot Projects
5) Construction of Permanent Implementation
As part of the information gathering, officials will typically lay down hard-count tubes for around 48-hours. Urban SDK will enable more robust gathering of data, most especially when snowy roadways could not previously be counted.
Further, Urban SDK's traffic calming software will enable officials to quickly determine if areas of vulnerability fall within the city's traffic calming criteria, which will then decide whether a temporary or permanent traffic calming solution will be implemented.

We're proud to announce our newest partnership with the City of Littleton, Colorado, as they further their commitment to data-driven decision making with their traffic calming program. Exciting times ahead! 🌟

We find ourselves amidst a housing crisis exacerbated by local city councils yielding to NIMBY interests, failing to show the political courage needed to enact necessary change. This has perpetuated the greatest generational inequity in history. To address this, we must streamline bureaucratic processes, accelerate approvals, foster denser developments around transit hubs and major roads, and promote "missing middle" housing options. Simultaneously, we are witnessing a surge in criminal activity, from burglaries to car thefts and gun violence. Our discussions around transit fail to adequately tackle this pressing issue. Congestion worsens, distractions abound with populist but economically unsound proposals, while inefficiencies persist and taxes climb. Where is the visionary leadership for a brighter tomorrow? Drawing upon 24 years of immersion in Mississauga's community, I have actively contributed to its progress. From co-chairing the Mississauga Summit and leading the Mississauga Arts Council to engaging in grassroots campaigning and advocating for civic causes through Transit Alliance, my commitment to our city runs deep. Vote for better Mississauga! Vote for better future for you and your kids! ... https://lnkd.in/gSRcEKZT#briancrombie#bcrombie#briancrombieformayor#votebriancrombie

Today, I’m standing with Mayor Breed and Sen. Wiener to announce the first Entertinment Zone in California - Front Street!
“Downtown San Francisco needs a nightlife renaissance post-pandemic. Launching California’s first ever entertainment zone on Front Street is significant and will catalyze more reasons to come downtown,” Robbie Silver, executive director of the Downtown SF Partnership, said in a statement.
