Meet the Milish Bakery Team! Ashwin, who joined our team in Milish Bakery 3 months ago. 🧁 What inspired you to join the Milish Bakery team? I was inspired by the history of the company. Knowing that it has been around since 1959 and family-owned inspired me. 🧁 What's your favourite part of working at Milish Bakery? Getting to pick the brains of my mentors Joanna Da Silva and Fergal Gilbert, knowing that no topic is out of bounds whether it is career progression, past professional experience or something as simple as “my car wouldn’t start this morning do you know what could cause that” 😊. 🧁 What's the most challenging aspect of your role, and how do you overcome it? Learning the detail on supply chain management. I have learned to take as many notes as possible and ask plenty of questions. At Milish Bakery there is a real culture of there is no dumb question and senior managers are always around to support. 🧁 Could you share any tips or advice for someone interested in a career at Milish Bakery? Be open to learning something new outside of your field of expertise. 🧁 What's your passion outside of work? Any hobbies or interests you'd like to share? I am a big Formula 1 and Boxing fan. If I am not imaginary strategizing with Tote Wolf to get Lewis Hamilton a podium, I am coaching Gervonta Davis to the win through the Tele. 🏎️🥊🏆 🧁 What's the best piece of professional advice you've ever received? When you are winning you are not as good as you think you are and when you are losing you are not as bad as you think. #MilishBakery #MeetTheTeam #BakingJoy

Many jobs within a brewery require technical acumen and specialized knowledge, and hiring for them often rewards impressive résumé. However, some breweries are succeeding with a different paradigm—one that places a higher value on curiosity, character, and cultural fit, and one that sees specific brewing skills as trainable rather than prerequisite. Brewing a career is like crafting a fine beer. It requires skill, patience, and the right ingredients. I've always had a love for craft beers. The diversity, the unique flavours, the sheer artistry that goes into each bottle - it's not unlike the varied and fulfilling journey of career progression. When I'm not coaching, you'll often find me sampling different brews. Each beer, with its distinct style and composition, is a testament to its brewer's creativity and expertise. This diversity is akin to the many paths one can take in their career. Just like sampling beers, tasting success in your career involves a willingness to try new things, to take risks, to step outside your comfort zone. It's about being adaptable, open to change, and always ready to learn something new. In the same way that a brewer experiments with different ingredients to create a unique beer, we too must experiment with different roles, skills, and experiences to carve out our own unique career paths. In the realm of capital markets, this could mean exploring new sectors, learning new skills, or even taking on a leadership role. The opportunities are as varied and exciting as the array of craft beers in a specialist store. Book your free discovery call with me and let's explore together how to make 2024 your year of discovery and development. Let's craft your career just as a brewer crafts their beer - with passion, determination, and a taste for success. Schedule a 30-minute call with me at https://lnkd.in/eUqzGReK. Here's to tasting success in your career, one sip at a time! #CareerCrafting #SuccessJourney #CraftYourPath #CareerDevelopment #PassionAndDetermination

Head of Business Development @ InvoZone | Generated $3+ Million from Upwork | IT Business & Startup Consultant | BDM | B2B Email Marketing Expert | Business Development Manager | Salesforce CRM Expert
🌟 Story Time! 🌟 Today, I ventured into Mall of Gujrawala filled with foodie havens galore! As I wandered, stomach rumbling, I noticed something intriguing: every restaurant had a keen-eyed staff member stationed outside, ready to swoop in and guide hungry patrons to their culinary delights. Now, here's the kicker - without uttering a single word, merely a subtle nod in the direction of my chosen eatery, I found myself whisked away faster than you can say "bon appétit!" It got me thinking - these folks were masters at reading their potential customers, effortlessly steering them towards the perfect dining experience. And hey, it hit me like a lightbulb moment! The same principle applies to the world of IT business. By honing our skills at analyzing and understanding our potential leads, we can navigate the landscape with finesse, making the journey from prospect to closed deal a piece of cake (or a slice of pizza, your choice!). 🚀 #LeadGeneration #BusinessInsights #FoodieAdventures
