After an incredible 30-year tenure at Miller Pipeline, Foreman Mike Harding has elected to retire. We cannot express our gratitude for Mike’s dedication to his craft and willingness to go above and beyond.
Enjoy and relax, Mike!

Here's the video from our Enbridge tour showcasing the operation of midstream pipelines. This working model transported two different streams of water (red and blue) with effective pig traps and provers. The video displays water from the red storage tank moving across the desk.

Last month we spoke about our pipeline construction Pre-Planning and Proposal Stage. This month, we're focusing on the Execution Stage, where we take everything we prepared and put it into action.
This is often the busiest Stage in any project, with many factors to consider and implement, including:
➡️ Development, submission, and adoption of project-specific planning
➡️ Temporary/permanent access and crossing construction
➡️ Topsoil removal and sequestration
➡️ Water channel management
➡️ Hauling, stringing, bending, gauging, welding, and coating of all pipe
This frequently has to take place over hundreds of kilometres of land.

We have used our slogan "More than tubes" since many years. But what does it really mean?
We hare happy to show this to you in a new video series. What is "More than tubes" for pipeline projects, for example?

I spy with my little eye.....
Another successful pig dig! Who can spot the interacting features?
ADV Integrity is reviewing ILI Tool reports and selecting repair plan digs for a gathering system in Texas along with the team at MID-AMERICA PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION INC who are running the pigs and completing the digs.
This find today is yet another example of why running ILI tools is a good idea, even if your lines aren't required to yet by regulation.
Thanks Kyle Whitfield for the confirmation that our work is helping to keep the product in the pipeline.
A well designed pig and dig program can ensure that your system can remain in service for may more productive years to come.
Give Sarah Graham with Mid-America or myself a shout to learn how our combined teams can be your one stop shop for pipeline integrity management.

Check out Farwest's construction team installing an AC mitigation system in southern Utah. This project showcases our ability to handle challenging environments, with our team expertly navigating the rocky terrain. Using a large bulldozer to "rip" the ground and prepare a trench, followed by plowing a bare copper cable into the pre-ripped trench with a second tractor, we’re helping to ensure the pipeline is well-protected into the future.
AC mitigation is crucial for transmission pipelines. When pipelines are installed near high-voltage power lines, they can experience induced AC voltage, which poses serious safety risks and accelerates corrosion. By installing an AC mitigation system, these risks are reduced, enhancing the longevity and safety of the pipeline.
At Farwest, our skilled crews, equipped with the right tools, products and expertise, are capable of executing such complex installations efficiently.
