More importantly it gives Australia 2 Secondary Fast Bowlers whose presence can lighten the load on Cummins, Starc, and Hazlewood. Along with offering Tactical Flexibility it allows Australia to manage the Workload of 3 Fast Bowlers who have a lot of miles on their body. Finally, while I generally believe in Continuity, I wonder if the Greentop at the Basin Reverse represented an opportunity to Blood a Young Batsman or a Young Fast Bowler in what is a conducive situation.
