Hello everyone! My name is Chika Devina Fitria Kusuma Dewi, but you can call me Chika. As a recent graduate from the Sharia Economics, University of Jember. I am very excited to embark on my career & pursue opportunities in the professional world. I am eager to continue learning & growing. I believe that understanding one’s strengths & weaknesses is a crucial first step towards success.   Strengths That Serve as My Main Assets  1. Communication Skills, One of my main strengths is my ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & in writing. During my studies, I was frequently involved in group discussions & presentations, which helped me hone these skills. I believe that effective communication is crucial for collaborating with teams & conveying ideas clearly. 2. Time Management, Managing time efficiently is something I have taken seriously during my studies. With numerous assignments & organizational activities, I am accustomed to creating organized schedules & setting priorities. This ability helps me stay productive and avoid procrastination in both academic tasks & other activities. 3. Problem-Solving, Creativity is something I enjoy, especially when it comes to finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I believe this creative approach can add value in the workplace, particularly in finding new ways to enhance efficiency & effectiveness. 4. Consistent Attention to Detail, I have a strong attention to detail. For every task I undertake, I ensure that everything is completed thoroughly & accurately. This meticulousness helps me produce high-quality work, which is essential in a professional environment. 5. Adaptability, I always ready to adapt to new situations. During my studies, I frequently encountered various changes, both in learning methods & technology used. This flexibility prepares me to face new challenges in the workplace. Currently, I am exploring various career opportunities and am very enthusiastic about working in the Islamic finance sector. I am ready to apply my educational background and my research experience to make a meaningful contribution in this field. Engaging in research has strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in Islamic finance and I am excited to explore roles that align with my skills and passion in this growing sector.

In a recent post, I encouraged newbies and Islamic finance “enthusiasts” to actively pursue a career in ethical / Islamic finance. I have been inundated with DMs and requests from people asking me about how they can get started. I realized that different people need different things to get started. Whilst I don’t have a perfect solution, I thought of this: How about we create program that will help those who are trying to break into ethical finance get a footing in the space. 🚩 Introducing Project20 A program dedicated to helping those who want to get into ethical finance. We are only looking for 20 people for this phase. Our goal is to help these 20 people get a job or start a venture in Islamic finance by end of the year 2024. 🏮 Eligibility Criteria 1. Current or past experience in banking or a finance related role. 2. Minimum of 2 years work experience 3. Open to everyone regardless of faith, gender or country of residence. 🛑 PS: Please don’t apply if you are already working in the industry or you are still undecided. 🎯 The program will cover: 1. Career workshops / Internship opportunities 2. Islamic finance education 3. Mentorship and guidance from leading Islamic finance figures 4. Its just the second day of #GNAM journey and i am already seeing the how #BehaviouralEconomics plays out in the day today life. _ There is a hair line difference between #confidence and #overConfidence and that is your emotions and perceptions _ Actions and decisions revolve around a reference point, your utility is defined with respect to it _ Pain of loosing ₹10 is twice then pleasure of gaining ₹10 _ You pay risk premium to get some cushion against uncertainties & that is collected by insurance companies _ You will likely to get two bonuses if you work more (actually its the other way round). Small gains add up to your happiness _ You feel less pain to use your credit card than using money from your account #learning #BehaviouralEconomics without interacting with actual world is like swimming without waters. One market place plenty of interactions, diversity of language, cultural background, country, expectations, it was like 'n' different world trying to make sense of one another.
