When school fundraising is more than selling chocolates.............(thank you God) Mattea's school - Bradfield College at St Leonards is having a raffle to raise much needed funds. Ok, so if you run for president and have Elmo show up, your campaign would need to show you as licensor. No presidential campaign has licensed rights to Seasame Street. Why should you care? That is up to you. But never has a PBS property been assigned to support a political candidate. Ever. So why is it okay today? As Sesame Workshop, the licensor of these characters is a non-profit organization. So, a percentage of the money from any Sesame Workshop product must help fund Sesame Street or its international co-productions. No Biden campaign sources show how it addressed licensing, nor the inappropriate use of presidential office, to apply a tax payers' funded media propeery to support a political campaign. This weekend, we’re going to race across more than 200 miles through 15 towns on Cape Cod with up to 20-pounds on our backs… Sure, it SUCKS, but do you know what SUCKS even more? It SUCKS to lose someone you love because there were no programs or services available for veterans, who suffered silently after active duty. According to recent surveys, almost 44 veterans kill themselves each day – and that’s 44 veterans a day way too many. The unintended consequences cut deep, reach far and last forever. No one should ever have to experience it, but, unfortunately, many do. How can we help?
