It's mental health awareness week, a chance for the wider corporate community to highlight MH in the workplace. Having worked in organisations from both the healthy and unhealthy ends of the toxicity spectrum, I like many of us can attest to the difference a supportive and psychologically safe work environment can make to mental wellbeing. What continues to sadden me to this day though is how often faceless corporations opt to provide "resilience initiatives" and training but fail to fix their culture of toxicity in the first place.
