My dad is an 84-year-old chess champion with contagious energy. Here are 6 lessons I learned from him in the past decade: 1) Keep learning → he studies new chess theories daily → learning helps his mind focus on a 5+ hour-long chess game, planning 10+ chess moves ahead. 2) Stay active → whether it's gardening, walking, or biking, find an activity you enjoy and make it part of your daily routine. 3) Embrace the community → he is not a baker, but a master at growing apples - and exchanges them for apple pies → it's about sharing value → we all have something we can offer to others. 4) Pursue your dreams → age is just a number. My dad got his motorbike at 80 years old. → it's never too late for your passions. 5) Practice modesty → enjoy your meals, but don't overeat → eating to 80% full helped him maintain his energy. 6) Value friendships → reuniting with old friends, some after 65+ years from school, has brought him much joy → make time for friends. What are some life lessons you've learned from your family? Wishing you all an amazing weekend!

✈️yearly trip was magical Having a community is crucial for several reasons: ✅Emotional Support: Communities provide emotional support during difficult times. Knowing that others care and are available for support can help alleviate stress and promote mental well-being. 🌸having people who REALLY care matters ✅Shared Resources: Communities often share resources, information, and opportunities. This can include everything from job leads and childcare to advice on dealing with specific challenges. 🌸we have unlimited opportunities/ we have sooo many homes to visit/ we have accesss to each other ✅Sense of Belonging: Being part of a community gives individuals a sense of belonging and identity. It helps people feel connected to something larger than themselves, which can enhance their self-esteem and life satisfaction. 🌸we look forward to this yearly trip ✅Collective Power: Communities can mobilize collective action to address common issues, advocate for change, and support members in achieving common goals. This collective power can lead to significant social, economic, and political improvements. MaaPaa.org lead with kindness

Community Organizing and The Four E's What should one capitalize upon to draw in more crowds? For those in the different industries this question is profound be it for educational, health, military, cities, recreation centers and all such events that attract a lot of people for optimal outcomes. Community organizing has its health and economic outcomes and for communities, cities and countries this has population level benefits. The bottom line is that there are these four E's that should be capitalized in to draw individuals' buy-in. Community organizing optimizes education, entertainment and exploration leading to the fourth outcome which is exhilaration. #CommunityOrganizing #Empowerment

Contribute to the Success of Your Community Life is a circle of contributions: I contribute. You contribute. We all contribute. What you enjoy today comes from the contributions of others. What you lack today may be because someone chose not to contribute. Don’t be the one who breaks the circle by withholding what you can offer. Every person on Earth has the potential to make the world better. Contribution is the Heart of Living. You can contribute in countless ways: Share your knowledge, understanding, wisdom, love, peace, resources, or finances. Give your time and effort physically, spiritually, intellectually, financially, and morally. Ask Yourself: What am I contributing where I am right now? How have I helped others progress? What’s missing because I chose not to contribute? What can I do moving forward? Make Your Presence Meaningful Wherever you are—in your workplace, home, community, or any circle you’re part of—be a contributor. Offer support instead of complaints, build up rather than criticize, and replace resentment with generosity. If everyone contributes meaningfully, the world becomes a place worth living in. Begin Today Start making an impact, and see how it uplifts those around you. Stay blessed and continue contributing meaningfully.
