"But then I had a profound realisation: these obstacles were my life." In leadership, it's easy to fall into the trap of waiting for the "right moment" to act or make a difference. You might think, "Once I finish this project, I'll lead the way I truly want to." But what if the challenges you face aren’t detours from your path but the path itself? This is where a mindset shift becomes essential. It's crucial to understand that the journey isn’t about waiting for perfect conditions; it's about actively embracing the challenges as they come. Your growth as a leader and individual happens precisely through these moments of struggle and perseverance. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a vital tool on this journey. It enables you to see these obstacles not as setbacks but as opportunities to build resilience, deepen empathy, and enhance self-awareness. By navigating these challenges with a strong EQ, you become better equipped to lead with authenticity and compassion. So, stop waiting for life to begin and recognise that you're already living it. Each challenge is an invitation to grow, lead, and live fully. 🔹 Embrace the journey. Lead with purpose. Live in the moment. 🔹 #neuroleadership #mindsetshift #emotionalintelligence #growthmindset #resilience #leadwithpurpose ____________________ Hi, I'm Maureen, CEO of The Mindsight Academy and leader of the Mindsight Women's Network. Stress often comes in small, unnoticeable packages we call microstresses. They might seem insignificant, but over time, they accumulate and affect our well-being, productivity, and peace of mind. As William James wisely said, The greatest weapon against stress is your ability to choose one thought over another. By being intentional about your thoughts and shifting your mindset, you can overcome or deal with the daily microstresses that challenge you. Remember, it's not just about avoiding stress—it's about managing it effectively, one thought at a time. Commit today to making small, positive changes that can lead to significant transformations tomorrow. #mindsetmatters #overcomingstress #neuroleadership #rewireyourbrain #selfleadership #TheMindsightAcademy ____________________ Hi, I'm Maureen, CEO of The Mindsight Academy, founder of Mindsight Women's Network for Christian Women. Challenges are inevitable in our journey through life and leadership. Yet, as John C. Maxwell wisely points out, it's not the challenges themselves that define us but our responses to them. At The Mindsight Academy, we believe that every challenge is an opportunity to rewire our brains and transform our mindset. This means shifting our perspective, embracing growth, and turning obstacles into stepping stones. Through intentional practice and positive thinking, we can reframe our experiences and build resilience from within. Imagine facing a difficult situation and, instead of feeling defeated, using it as fuel for personal and professional growth. This inner transformation is where true strength lies. It's about nurturing a mindset that not only overcomes but also thrives in the face of adversity. For leaders, this mindset is crucial not only for personal development but also for guiding and inspiring others. By focusing on what happens within us, we unlock the power to change our reality. This journey of inner growth empowers us to lead with empathy, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Leaders can use this approach to: 🧠 Model Resilience: Show your team how to navigate challenges with a positive outlook. 🧠 Cultivate a Growth Mindset: Encourage continuous learning and adaptation. 🧠 Foster a Supportive Environment: Create a culture where challenges are seen as opportunities for collective growth. 🧠 Empower Others: Help your team rewire their own thinking to build inner strength and confidence. Let's embrace this mindset together, transforming our challenges into catalysts for growth and inspiring those around us to do the same. #leadership #personaldevelopment #innerstrength #RewireYourBrain #resilience #faithandscience #TheMindsightAcademy ____________________ Hi, I'm Maureen, CEO of The Mindsight Academy, founder of the Mindsight Store, and leader of the Mindsight Women's Network for Christian Women. Keynote and Inspirational Speaker ✭ Addressing the Silent Heartache of High Achievers™ (2024) ✭ Heart-powered leadership motivational talks, training and growth experiences ✭ Founder at Haven ✭ NED for visionary startups
A less commonly shared aspect of my background is my lineage of Vedic wisdom keepers and healers. The circumstances of my life, my dedication to advancing human consciousness and over 30 years of practice as a psychologist, mentor and speaker have enabled me to learn about the human condition and to share ancient wisdom and modern healing practices. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by the heart’s intelligence and its capacity when properly accessed, to improve people’s lives and give them fulfillment in all aspects. In my experience, when people become more emotionally and spiritually aware, and more connected to intangibles like intuition, instinct and creativity, their positive influence expands. Such people, whatever their background, may also find themselves called to a more vital role as voices for truth and to raise collective consciousness. It's an honor to speak to forward-thinking organizations, acknowledging that the future of leadership and sustainable success is rooted in the intangible qualities — heart and human qualities — where the feelings we inspire are as crucial as our thoughts and words. We believe in the role of the heart in the evolution of life and leadership and that 21st-century leadership requires a new set of skills to sustain people and our planet. Studies show that 61% of employees reported being able to be innovative with empathetic leaders compared to only 13% of employees with less empathetic ones. Companies fostering high trust experience a 50% boost in productivity. It is high time we acknowledge the value of the intangible. This is an area where we can help — reach out for a talk or workshop. #leaders #founders #business #future #heart #coeurskills #heartintelligenceleadership

Have you ever found yourself on the cusp of a significant decision or opportunity, only to find yourself pulling back? If so, you're not alone. It's a scenario many intelligent, driven women find themselves in - on the brink of investing in their personal growth, yet held back by their own self-sabotage. You see, sometimes our minds craft narratives that hold us captive. The fear of failure whispers ominously, suggesting we're not good enough or ready yet. This voice may convince us to prioritize others' needs over our own because we've been conditioned to believe that self-care is selfish. Raise your hand if you’ve been there. But let me assure you - it's not! Investing in ourselves is an act of empowerment and an investment in everyone we love and lead. There's also the insidious belief that seeking help or guidance signifies weakness or incompetence. But even the strongest leaders need coaches and mentors; they provide clarity, perspective, and accountability that catalyze growth. What if I told you that these self-sabotaging behaviors are merely manifestations of your comfort zone trying to keep you safe? And what if stepping outside this comfort zone is precisely what could lead to your breakthrough? Overcoming these barriers begins with awareness followed by action. That’s where my Leadership Elevation Coaching services come into play! This is just one of the many benefits of working with me, the guidance towards developing resilience against these mental traps. Belief is Everything! **Mastering Your Mindset: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs in Women's Leadership** In the space of women's leadership, mastering your mindset is non-negotiable. It's about confronting and conquering those limiting beliefs that hold you back from reaching your full potential. Here's the breakdown: 🔹 **Mindset Matters:** As a woman leader, your mindset is your secret weapon. It's about cultivating a mindset that's laser-focused on growth and possibility, not bogged down by self-doubt or fear of failure. Think of it as your mental gym session—training your brain to tackle challenges head-on and emerge stronger than ever. 🔹 **Busting Through Limiting Beliefs:** Let's call them what they are—roadblocks on the path to success. Whether it's imposter syndrome whispering in your ear or the relentless pressure to be perfect, these limiting beliefs can derail even the most talented leaders. But here's the kicker: they're all in your head. By recognizing and challenging these beliefs, you can break free from their grip and unleash your full potential. 🔹 **Authenticity is Key:** Think about what makes YOU different. You don't want to be like everyone else, you want to stand out...BUT you say you want it time and again, yet continue to stand in your own way. Own your story, embrace your strengths and weaknesses (aka opportunities), and lead with integrity. When you show up as your authentic self, you inspire others to do the same, creating a culture of trust and transparency that drives results. 🔹 **Empowering Others:** As a woman leader, your journey isn't just about you—it's about lifting others up along the way. By mastering your mindset and leading by example, you empower those around you to do the same. It's about creating a ripple effect of confidence, resilience, and empowerment that goes beyond boundaries...it transforms lives. Ready to remove those blocks that are keeping you stuck and move to the next level? Let's hop on a 30-minute call and conquer them together! https://lnkd.in/g6ymcPZ9 #FindingYourVOICE #WomenLeadership #MindsetMastery #LimitingBeliefs #AuthenticLeadership #Empowerment #LeadershipJourney

Have you heard of Framestorm? Keep reading👇 #LeadershipTransformation #NeuroLeadership #CognitiveReappraisal #EmotionalRegulation #MindsetShift #InnovativeLeadership #BrainBasedLeadership #ResilientLeadership #LeadershipSkills #StrategicThinking
Today, I want to introduce you to a transformative concept that is pivotal in modern leadership: the Power of Reframing. I have been deeply inspired by Anette Prehn's article "Create Reframing Mindsets Through Framestorm”, where she unveils the Framestorm method. This technique is not just about shifting perspectives; it is about transforming your approach to leadership by managing mindsets, not just tasks. It has been proven effective in my coaching work with many leaders worldwide. Why is reframing crucial? Reframing, also known as cognitive reappraisal, is about viewing situations from new perspectives, thus diminishing their emotional impact. Instead of suppressing emotions — which can exacerbate stress — reframing enables us to genuinely transform our feelings about circumstances. 🧠This process engages the brain in a fascinating way: it activates the prefrontal cortex, enhancing cognitive control and emotional regulation, and reduces the amygdala's stress response, helping us remain composed under pressure. This is underpinned by neuroplasticity — the concept that neurons that fire together wire together, reinforcing our ability to think positively and resiliently. Stay tuned! In the next part, I will dive deeper into how this approach works in practice, with actionable steps and questions that can profoundly alter your leadership style. Keep reading! As a woman leader, you’ve probably faced slip ups, challenges, or bad decision-making. It’s a normal part of business life. You’re not alone! Many women leaders, including us, have experienced the same challenges, felt the strong emotions, and have felt a sense of unworthiness, self-blame, or negativity that you JUST CAN’T BEAT. When I started my own business as a coach and trainer, I often compared myself to others feeling I wasn’t ‘as good as them.’ Through my own professional development and growth mindset, I realized that what I offer is unique and effective for the clients I support. When my colleague, Anita Torres started her business, her clients branded her Anita, the Passionista. It took her years to have the confidence and courage to go out in public for fear of ridicule or feeling like a fraud. In her head that meant she could only ‘BE’ the Passionista if she was jolly, happy, and free of negativity. If you think you’re the only person struggling with impostor syndrome – you’re not alone. Research found that 70% of all people have experienced impostor syndrome at some point in their lives. The good news is there are ways to navigate these feelings and enjoy success. If you’re tired of ‘feeling like a fake’ at work, join us, May 1, for our FREE power-hour webinar on beating impostor syndrome.
