I was recently asked if I was interested in a job opportunity. In the following paragraphs of the job description, they used basic, intermediate, or expert knowledge of (thing). I replied that I would very much be interested in discussing the role, and wanted to know more about what the client (hiring manager?) considered “expert knowledge of M365 suite”. Seemed like a reasonable question, but I decided to include more substance. Are they wanting knowledge in setting it up after the initial purchase? Migration from another provider? Security and compliance creation? Possibly experience for post M&A scenarios? Federations? Auditing? Azure/AD/IAM? … That was the response. Crickets. 🤷🏽♂️ #opentowork #m365
