We are thrilled to welcome Omar Elhaj, MD, FAPA to our team at Mindful Health Solutions as Regional Medical Director based in San Francisco. With over 25 years of extensive experience in clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Elhaj brings a wealth of expertise in treating mood and anxiety disorders, addiction disorders, cognitive disorders, PTSD, and dual diagnoses. About Dr. Elhaj: "I have had the privilege of developing extensive experiences in clinical and leadership positions spanning more than 25 years in all settings of care including most recently serving as CMO for All Points North, Regional Medical Director for Telecare Corporation, and Senior Medical Director for LifeStance Health. I have served as co-principal investigator for several National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and industry-sponsored bipolar disorder studies and have presented throughout the country on various mental health issues. I have published thirty-seven peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. I continue to enjoy teaching and currently hold the clinical assistant professor of Psychiatry position at Case Western Reserve University. I enjoy providing care to people with complex clinical presentations. My specialty areas of interest include the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, addiction disorders, cognitive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, dual diagnoses disorders, and telehealth." Why Mindful Health Solutions? "MHS is a pioneering team in interventional psychiatry. Their outstanding clinicians have an unparalleled focus on evidence-based approaches in order to provide excellent patient care. They also foster meaningful professional engagement and growth." Vision for MHS: "My past experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, maintaining my curiosity, and most importantly embracing humility in recognizing the limits of my knowledge and expertise to accomplish any meaningful success. I genuinely hope to acquire more clinical skills in interventional psychiatry to help my patients with treatment resistant mood disorders, and at the same time to be able to support MHS leadership and clinicians to be the best organization we can be." Join us in welcoming Dr. Omar Elhaj to Mindful Health Solutions! 👏 #Psychiatrist #InterventionalPsychiatry #MindfulHealthSolutions
