It has been a great journey since then, when almost no one believe that the ecosystems where in fact transformed by a few huge successful startups accompanied by a big liquidity event, to these days when almost everyone believe it. We have hosted forums in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, including some of the top players in the startup world way before they were involved at anything in Latam, and some of them, even today are not active in the region, like Kleiner Perkins, Accel, Khosla Ventures, among many others. Our goal has always been facilitating growth and success for startups, and we will continue to do so now with our own fund DSV10 - Dissent Ventures. Excited about whats coming, and the community of 1,000 founders we have built in Latam, now, finally, including Brazil!

Having founded eight companies—most as German GmbHs (registered in Germany)—I’ve experienced the highs and lows of building businesses from the ground up.
