Maurice Sunkpal, Senior Ore Control, Freeport-McMoRan, presented “ShovelSense Bulk Ore Sorting Use Cases and Value at Freeport-McMoRan Chino Mine, New Mexico, USA.” Maurice Sunkpal, Senior Ore Control at Freeport-McMoRan, outlined several key benefits #ShovelSense delivers, such as predicting grades at the mine face for bulk ore sorting and diverting misclassified trucks. By utilizing ShovelSense, Chino mine achieved significant economic benefits by reducing dilution and ore loss through more than 10% truck diversions. Additionally, the integration of ShovelSense enhanced the self-audit capabilities of ore control tools and identified opportunities for process optimization. The implementation of ShovelSense also resulted in a reduction in variance from mine to mill, enabling selective mining with increased accuracy and confidence. Tennant Minerals has released its Activities Report for Quarter ended 30 June 2024. Highlights include: ◾ The 2024 #exploration season commenced, and the company completed its first #drilling program which comprised of 22 reverse circulation (RC) drillholes for 6,253m. The drilling successfully tested the eastern and western extents of the known high-grade copper-gold mineralisation at Bluebird and included the first new step out drilling towards the prospective Perseverance targets located 1.5km to the west of Bluebird. Samples from the drilling program have been submitted to Perth Laboratories and assay results will be collated and reported to the market on receipt. ◾ The Company received further results from ongoing metallurgical test-work of diamond drill core samples from Bluebird. Results from flotation test-work on bulk-samples, confirmed excellent flotation recoveries and high-concentrate grades of #copper and #gold. ◾ A successful capital raising of $4.78M was completed which ensures the Company can pursue its planned exploration drilling activities for 2024. CEO Vincent Algar commented: “This year’s drilling and field programs will be transformational for the Company as we progress towards defining a maiden Mineral Resource and commencement of development studies. All metallurgical test work has exceeded expectations.
