MinnCAP and the Minnesota Department of Human Services both want to help people to improve their lives and prosper. To do so, some individuals and families need assistance from them. MinnCAP's network of 24 Community Action Agencies and DHS do their best to work together to provide Minnesotians with beneficial programming and resources. Together Community Action and DHS have managed to respond to the needs of many in the community by offering housing and utility assistance to classes on homeownership to childcare, among other programs. It is a partnership that works and should continue to do so for a long time. Dozens of people came together Thursday evening for the first ever Senior Card Writing Event organized by Anoka County Community Action Program.
