There is something quite special about the feeling you get when you head into a strategy offsite. It’s that feeling when you combine excitement and anticipation and then mix in the unscripted outcome that comes from a group of passionate people coming together to shape the year ahead. Some people call it teamwork others collaboration. I call it the invisible ingredient that creates momentum. It’s the ‘magic’ that makes successful companies ‘successful’. A huge shout out to the Team at Prezzee in the US. Bring your hard hats and work boots Monday, it’s going to be a HUGE FY25. #digitalgifting #strategy #gameon

Evangelist at Talos360 | Public Speaker | Webinar & Workshop Host | Helping to Transform Talent Acquisition Processes and Candidate Experience
Opportunities = Retention 37 years, 8 roles, and 1 amazing employee testimonial to motivate existing employees (and potential new ones) about how loyalty is rewarded. I won't pretend to know much about Superdrug's retention strategy, do they have great employee engagement? Regular PDP meetings? High investment in L&D? i'm not sure, but what i do know is this is will do wonders for their employer brand. It also shows if you hire the right person who aligns with your company values, vision, culture etc, you can't go far wrong. Bravo 👏
Superdrug’s CCO journey is INSANE 🤯🤯 Simon Comins went from the shop floor to the board. A great example of what hard work, consistency and patience can gets you. Big shout out to Superdrug for creating environment where top talent can work their way to the top. Hope more companies did this 🚀 Tag or DM me someone else with a CRAZY career come up history!

Chief of Staff at Happen Ventures | Sustainability & Recycling Visionary | Leading the Charge in Beneficial Reuse | Creating Value from Surplus
From being first hired as a list builder to Chief of Staff. It’s with great joy that I share my new role at Happen Ventures... This moment means so much to me. Not because of my promotion alone But the incredible path we've shared side by side. → TODAY, I officially take on this new challenge. →TODAY, I reflect on being the first employee & helping build this company from the ground up. →TODAY, I’m super proud of our awesome team & the initial customers we brought in together. →TODAY, I’m happy that we now work with top-tier retailers & waste management companies around the world. A huge shout out to Jessica Gonzalez, who's been right there beside me, always motivating me & putting in just as much effort. Thanks for being my rock & helping me get here.. But let's be clear..This journey isn't about me alone. Getting here was made possible by ↳ Teamwork ↳ Sleepless nights ↳ Lots of brainstorming ↳ Tons of determination ↳ Countless cups of coffee But I'm far from done. Sky's the limit.. Without the team, we wouldn't be where we are today. Kudos to all your hard work & support. P.S. Yes, I will finally admit who keeps stealing the office pens. 🤫 #happenvetures #leadership #teamwork #businessgrowth #professionalgrowth

VP Operations - Business Growth & Scale | Business & Product Operations | Alliances & Partnerships | Digital Transformation | Integrated Operations expert | Passionate Systems Thinker
8 months back, we faced a challenge. 3 people from our organization were on the verge of leaving the company. They were ready to walk away, but fate had it that they landed in our team. Now, I could've said, "This might not work out," given the history with another team. But instead, we chose a different path. We decided to work with them, to see where we could take them. Fast forward to today, they're the top performers over the last 6 months, driving revenue within our team. I’ve been asked this question before, "How did you ensure they stayed, Rubina?" Here's the thing–We didn’t ENSURE it, We ENGINEERED their success. We broke down big goals into smaller, manageable steps, each with a process attached to it. We literally broke each goal at a granular level for the team to understand better. The clearer the goal the less is it likely to be missed as it rules out misinterpretations. Here’s What I did: I made a clear picture of how the end goal would look in my mind. I followed the famous rule called setting a SMART Goal. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART). Now I broke these goals into milestones. I determined the major steps/ phases needed to achieve your goal. Then I went on dividing milestones into smaller, achievable sub-goals. We sat down to specify what must be true to achieve each milestone. I Identified the tasks required for each sub-goal. These were the actions to be taken daily or weekly by my team to hit these sub-goals. We tracked their progress all through. Regularly celebrating small wins is equally important to maintain motivation (As we are doing in the picture below!) And that's how we've achieved success with everyone who's joined our team. When I took over operations last year, I reset the team, building it from the ground up. And today, I'm proud to say we've created a brand new team, united in purpose and driven by a shared vision. Co-Founder + Co-CEO | Entrepreneur | Cold Plunge | Health + Wellness | Corporate Wellness | Mental Performance | Recovery | Mind + Body
When the biggest challenge we deal with is growth, maybe we're in a pretty good place… I'm so thankful for how quickly we've grown at Plunge. At one point, we more than doubled our staff size in just 4 months. We have around 180 employees now. It's a challenge every business owner and entrepreneur wants to have, but it is just that...a challenge. Onboarding, training, systems, structures, finding the right cadence for meetings, maintaining culture, etc. For us, sometimes what worked last week doesn't work this week because of our pace. For me, as a leader at a company that's always looking out on the horizon to see where we're going, I don't always know the right answers. How far out can I project us going and what systems do I need to create to get us there? Without getting ahead of ourselves. Who else has dealt with this, and what advice do you have???
