Amazing event last night by Ramli "RJ" John and C. Todd L. focused on how PMs can bring "delight" into the product experience. A few quick takeaways: - Moments of delight and joy are not nice-to-haves. If done right, they can be the real competitive advantage for your product. - You need to understand the expectations of your users. If you don't meet them, you'll never be able to delight them (re: expectation confirmation theory). - Track the 'in-between moments' of the user journey. - Radically transparent data: most products are sitting on treasure troves of data, find ways of sharing the behind-the-scenes of what your product is doing with your user (re: Dominoes tracker case) cc: Andrew Harder

Product features management is one of the key challenges that most product teams face. It's so easy to code and launch new product features. But it's so hard to make them successful. That's what Casey Winters discussed in his great essay about Feature/Product fit (https://lnkd.in/eBRRQexU). I prepared an example based on one real product. Let's score all product features by using the TF-IDF approach. From the table below we can learn: 1/ Product features41 and product features2 are quite popular. But they are not as important (have tiny IF-IDF) compared to some other product features. 2/ Product feature42 is used very intensively (TF = 0.2449) but as it's used by a lot of users (% of users that used it = 65.7%) it's less important than product feature19. 3/ Product feature19 is not popular (% of users that used it = 5.1%) nor used intensively (TF = 0.0528) but in this product feature ecosystem, it's highly important. 4/ From the scatter chart (see in comments) you can learn how many product features have minor importance in the product in terms of TF-IDF (https://lnkd.in/dy-UsuQN). #product #analytics
