Artwork, one of the things in our industry that is both brilliant and a pain. With us, we do not charge artwork if you are ordering a product but we do if it only the artwork you want. Our previews are sent at 150dpi images Qr Codes are changed to our website (we tell the customer) A transparent watermark is also added. We also ask them to check everything and sign it off. But we always get one. We had a customer who wanted flyers. Artwork was done, preview was sent according to the settings above and the customer told. They still order from a different company using that preview then complain to.us it had a watermark, qr wasnt theor sote and quality was low. Now we could go into the whole customer service side of things but sometimes you just have to tell them. 1) We told you it had a watermark. 2) We told you the qr was changed 3) We told you it was a preview and not to print standard. We also reminded them you wanted to buy a product (hence no artwork charge) and you chose to use a preview to go elsewhere. Cheaper possibly but at a non satisfactory outcome. Our mind boggles sometimes but our question is does your industry suffer with similar issues?
