75% of the introductions I made didn't go well, so sad. → Don't ask for an introduction! - Unless you go for it, I truly mean it. - Did you know that many ask for introduction? - Did you know that many don't even understand it? I have helped many, they didn't follow up. → How do you find out if an introduction works for you? - I would not wait for the other side, I would follow up! - I would not waste the other person time, it's an opportunity. - I would be prepared for the potential interview, I won't ditch it. Being enthusiastic won't help, do the work! → Many are skeptical, don't believe in themselves. + Trust the process and believe in yourself. + An Introduction can help, give it a try. + Be prepared, your are half way there. If you wish to talk with that person, then do it! → We all want to grab someone's time. + Make it count, + Do it for yourself. + Respect people's time. They say "One Day" I say, "Day One. let's make it count" P.S. What's your experience in introducing someone? Let's chat. Miodrag ♻️ Repost this ♻️ Someone out there might use it! Introductions are the first impression, you got to make it count in that first interaction. Be honest and true, be yourself.
When I was in university, I got an introduction of India's top senior Astro physicst during a workshop through one of my professor, I was first hesitating to follow up, because I was shy, and thinking too much. Then when I followed up, I realized that he was a down to earth and such a kind person. Because of him, I got a huge interest in Astro physics and we used to discuss about how accutate are physics in sci-fi movies..he is a huge sci-fi fan! He has 25+ of experience with a child like enthusiasism about space. 😊 Definitely, Day one is far better than one day.

10moI got introduced to a digital filmmaking school when I was 18, I never looked back. It was where it started. At the age of 22 I asked for an introduction to work as a Flame assistant, and I got it. At the age of 24 I asked for another introduction. Guess what? I moved to London. Introduction works only if we follow up and if we truly believe in them and us.
