Do you know how the sanding belt is made? First of all, we cut the girth and width of the sand belt according to the size required by the customer, generally in millimeters. This step is also called cutting, and the size of the cutting is accurate. The second step is called edging, and you use a sanding belt and a steel brush to remove the paint from the joint of the sanding belt. Third, apply glue to one side of the special tape first. Step 4, brush glue on both sides of the sanding belt interface, and then apply the tape to the interface. Step 6, align the two ends of the sanding belt tightly, press and erase the residual glue on the back, wait 15 minutes, until the glue dries out, you can put it into the press to compact the interface, this is very important, otherwise the interface is easy to unglue. There are 3 different ways to do boulder splitting. One is expanding grout, or chemical rock breaking, another way is hydraulic wedge splitters and the last way is pneumatic wedge splitters. They all have their place. For boulders up to 4’ pneumatic splitting is great. They are super lightweight and easy to pack in and out of the hole or site. For boulders bigger than 4’ the hydraulic splitters are a great way to go. They have more power and split bigger pieces. For huge boulders and bedrock expanding grout is the preferred method.
