Topic : Robotics with AI #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking AI allows articulated robots to perform tasks faster and more accurately. AI technologies infer information from vision sensors, such as 2D/3D cameras, to segment and understand scenes as well as detect and classify objects. Learn more about articulated robots and robotic arms. AI allows cobots to respond to and learn from human speech and gestures without worker-assisted training. Learn more about the different types of robots and how they’re used across various industries. While integrating artificial intelligence with an existing operation or business model appears overwhelming at first, the benefits realized typically far outweigh the challenges experienced

In the shadow of GenAI, humanoid robots are evolving at an astounding rate. The video below shows Figure 02, an autonomous robot that could be the first one to become actually commercially-viable. It can perform complex tasks such as climbing stairs, lifting boxes, and using tools. And it's primary steering interface is through natural language / via an LLM. Key Features according to Figure: Height: 5'6" Payload: 20 kg Weight: 70 kg Runtime: 5 hours Speed: 1.2 meters per second Interesting is also how these robots get trained: namely in virtual simulations and by observing humans perform real world tasks. Festo's BionicBee takes flight! Festo's Bionic Learning Network has done it again! They've unveiled the BionicBee, the smallest flying robot in their collection and the first to achieve autonomous swarm behavior. This incredible little bee mimics real bees in both design and movement, weighing just 34 grams and using tiny wings with a wingspan of 24 centimeters to navigate with impressive agility. The coolest part? Multiple BionicBees can work together as a swarm, controlled by a central system for coordinated flight. This biomimicry is a marvel of engineering and could have major implications for tasks like search and rescue or environmental monitoring. What applications can you imagine for a swarm of @BionicBees? #Festo #BionicLearningNetwork #Biomimicry #Robotics #Technology #EngineeringMarvel #Microrobots #SwarmIntelligence #BioinspiredDesign #TinyTech #NatureIsGenius #SearchAndRescue #EnvironmentalMonitoring #FutureOfFlight #PrecisionEngineering #InnovationInAction #automation #AI #artificialintelligence
