Celebrity - A Mass Media Phenomenon. There is no doubt that love for some celebrity exists within us all. This isn’t the traditional definition of love but rather defined by an excessive admiration for a famous person whom we will probably never meet. The use of “love” is appropriate here as we who love celebrity tend to exhibit signs of undue influence by those highly visible. Famous people, the non-elected representatives of the human race, have always held some influence over the masses. More of this?? Yes please!! Yesterday I talked about ghosting and the impact of it on your dating. Then I came across this on Instagram and it's a shining example of someone who is dating in an honest and open way. And check out her response. Often ghosting is a them thing and not a you thing. I say this because often ghosting happens when someone doesn't know you well enough to make an accurate decision. Therefore it's more likely to be a them thing (unless of course you behaved like a child on a date or something??!!). So the guy in the example below had some him stuff going on. So he told her. In a great way which meant that she didn't then worry that it was something that she had done. Which can happen, even when you haven't met someone. Down the over thinking rabbit hole anyone?? So please, if you don't want to see someone again, let them know. " I had a great time getting to know you a bit. I just didn't feel that there was the spark that I'm looking for. Sometimes people forget that even celebrities are human beings. They go thru highs, lows and all in between like most of us. The main difference is their life is open to the public. Some of them don’t have what you think they have. They might even stretch themselves so thin just to keep up the appearance that they are ontop, when in reality they are fighting to maintain or get by with the possibility of even losing it all. Hard to believe I know but its true. You just wont know about it because they wont admit it in public and for good reason. Most people might even celebrate someones downfall or hardships because subconsciously it makes them feel better to stand on a soap box. So being vulnerable becomes even more difficult for them. We all get taught lessons. No one is exempt from that. We don’t have to feel sorry for anyone but kindness or compassion can go a long way for anyone. We are ALL human beings (at least I think lol) out here navigating our way thru this thing called life. Don’t be quick to want to swap lives with these “celebrities” trust me I know the stories.
