Last Friday's software outage created a checkout headache for many, but one of our local Dubai grocery retailers avoided the chaos thanks to MishiPay's self-checkout solutions! MishiPay operates on Android, and, using different data centres and cloud systems, our retailer’s checkout system remained fully functional. This allowed their customers to breeze through checkout while others faced delays. The result? A whopping 600% higher capacity to adapt to the demands of the region during the outage! It was microsoft azure outage right, which impacted the bank pos machines.
