Seeking Supplier Collaboration: Advanced Coatings for Autoclaves At LBBC, we manufacture corrosion testing autoclaves predominantly using 316L Stainless Steel or C276 Hastelloy. To enhance corrosion resistance, we often use PTFE liners or offer Tantalum treatment via Chemical Vapor Deposition. While these solutions work, they come with challenges: • PTFE liners increase heat-up times and risk vapour entrapment. • Tantalum treatment, though excellent, is costly and extends lead times. We're exploring innovative coating options such as PTFE, PEEK, or Hastelloy coatings directly applied to the autoclave surface to improve efficiency and durability. 📩 If you're a supplier with expertise in this area or interested in collaborating, I’d love to hear from you. #Autoclaves #CorrosionResistance #Innovation #Coatings

Danny Burkle do you guys manufacture autoclaves which can be used at 207 bar? If not, could you suggest a manufacturer?

Hello Danny, Thank you for sharing this great opportunity! For the advanced coatings requested for autoclaves, we offer a specialized solution that we believe would be an ideal fit for your application. Based on the information provided, HEGGEL Corr 216 is one of the best options from our range. It’s a single-layer, solvent-free, advanced corrosion-resistant coating designed to provide strong protection for your facilities. With its unique molecular structure and advanced epoxy resin, it offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance across various substrates, particularly in process conditions where the service environment involves the presence of sulfur in the steam at elevated temperatures. In this case, we can assume the formation of deteriorating elements such as H2SO4 and H2S as well. It also boasts high abrasion resistance and strong adhesion to multiple surfaces. I will reach out via email soon for further technical exchange.
