This year has been a remarkable journey filled with opportunities to work alongside clients striving to make a difference in their industries. It’s been an honor to help them raise capital, secure resources, and win grants that will propel their visions forward. Among these experiences, one stands out as particularly exciting—a chance to contribute to a project that I believe has the potential to reshape the global energy landscape. While I’m not naming the company just yet, I have no doubt their name will soon become familiar to many. One of the most thrilling aspects of this work was collaborating on a grant application for NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, or DIANA. This program was designed to accelerate innovation and procurement within NATO by investing in groundbreaking, dual-use technologies that serve both civilian and defense purposes. These technologies have the power to address critical societal challenges while advancing the boundaries of what’s possible. The scope of DIANA’s initiative is staggering. Out of 2,600 companies worldwide that applied, only 73 start-ups were selected to participate in an intensive six-month training program spread across 14 accelerator sites. (Which working together was able to secure my client one of these coveted spots.) These innovators will receive €100,000 in funding, entirely strings-free, and gain unparalleled access to NATO's vast network of resources and partnerships. During this time, they’ll engage in rigorous training on dual-use innovation, financing, and commercialization strategies, setting the stage for transformative advancements. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to play a part in such a groundbreaking initiative, knowing that the work done here has the potential to foster solutions that impact the world on multiple levels. The possibilities ahead for the clients I’ve supported—and for this energy-focused project in particular—are boundless, and I can’t wait to see how these efforts unfold. Stay tuned; this is just the beginning. https://lnkd.in/gJazHp4D
