Toyota might have a game changer on it's hands with these Hydrogen fuel cell electric cars against traditional EV's. Hydrogen is one of the most abundant elements on earth and would be much faster to replenish in a car versus charging an EV. To truly succeed in moving forward a global infrastructure must exist to support these vehicles just as with EV's. So far the Infrastructure for EV's is lacking. I suppose only time will tell.

I wonder why this article is so focused on fuel cells vs. traditional engine technology, such as what Toyota is producing? It works, why make things more complex? Fuel cells are painfully complex, expensive and generally utilize exotic materials to act as catalysts. Just yesterday France announced that it has discovered what is believed to be the largest naturally occurring pocket of hydrogen in the world. https://lnkd.in/gj8Phbtg
