Yesterday, Dr. Kollin Napier, Ph.D. Napier, Director of the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network (MAIN), had the honor of testifying on artificial intelligence (AI) before the Joint Senate and House Technology Committee of the Mississippi Legislature. MAIN extends its gratitude to the Chairs, Senator Williams and Representative Ford, for inviting MAIN to this important session. The event convened experts and practitioners from industry, education, and various sectors to discuss the current AI landscape and its future trajectory. During his testimony, Dr. Napier provided key insights on how the State of Mississippi is navigating the AI landscape under MAIN's leadership. As the nation's first statewide AI initiative, MAIN is leading in AI awareness, education, training, and innovation, fostering growth and integration across Mississippi.
