Spraying on some Foliar feed for Soybeans at the R1 stage! Here we are doing a trial of several products on 3 different check strips. Biologicals, foliar feed of a high quantity of select nutrients, and a smaller quantity of lots of nutrients. We did a similar plot to this on flag leaf in wheat and team biology won! It will be interesting to see the difference of an addition of nutrients at R1 vs an addition of biology!

🐞 Ope, about that time for CRW trials to start. The southern corn rootworm, also known as the spotted cucumber beetle, is a soil-dwelling insect. By late June to early July, adult beetles begin to emerge from corn fields. The males emerge first, the females following in about 5 to 7 days. The beetles in corn fields feed primarily on pollen, green silks, or leaves. #insecticidetrial #insecticideresearch #naicc #kaicc #research #researchanddevelopment

🎬🌿 In the latest #PhenoRob paper trailer video PhD student Charlotte Hubert-Schöler presents her results of a greenhouse postharvest experiment conducted with three different Mentha genotypes. ✍ 📋 The research is summarised in the new paper on “Effect of Different Postharvest Methods on Essential Oil Content and Composition of Three Mentha Genotypes”. 🌱🧪 The paper is part of the "Quality Assessment of Aromatic Plants by Hyperspectral and Mass Spectrometric Methods" (QuAAP) project. QuAAP aims to translate hyperspectral data into agronomic and biochemical traits. It will provide a better understanding of the relationship between genotypes, environment, management and biochemicals, and hyperspectral sensor data. 🧑🏼🌾🧑🏼🔬 The project is carried out in close collaboration between the Institute of Crop Science and Resource Conservation (INRES) and the Institute of Nutritional and Food Science (IEL) of The University of Bonn. 🫱🏼🫲🏼 The paper is available here 👇🏼 Hubert, C.; Tsiaparas, S.; Kahlert, L.; Luhmer, K.; Moll, M.D.; Passon, M.; Wüst, M.; Schieber, A.; Pude, R.
