AI is transforming the fabric of software, whether we believe it or not, like it or not. While it's not yet on par with seasoned experts, it's already empowering developers to tackle the easier parts of their projects. The future is unknown until it happens, but one thing is clear: AI will continue to shape the coding landscape. Exciting times ahead!

4moAre there standardized commercial terms for this kind of model if self-hosting? I already have a use-case for this one if effective. I'm still building (pre-revenue), but I also believe you deserve to get paid. The format of the responses from the Apache-licensed 7B model is easier to parse than other models. I have a 4090 for initial development as well as a 4060Ti 16GB, 3050Ti, 1070, and 1080 if there are models that can use the weaker GPUs. I think a 10-series is limited to 3b models - still beats CPU. How small can you go with these and still be useful? Can there be a 1B model that's a specialist? Say an AI that specializes in a specific trade domain based on hard facts, like carpentry or plumbing.
