A glimpse at the first 5 ARMG in Chancay Port: The new Mega-Port project, located 65KM north of Lima, Peru's capital, is already over 83% complete and is expected to be delivered by November this year. In this first phase, the port will feature fully automated intelligent infrastructure, including 6 remote-controlled quay bridges, 15 double-cantilever automated rail cranes, 3 bulk gantry cranes, and 3 multi-purpose gantry cranes according to manufacturer ZPMC. With a substantial investment of over USD 1.3 billion from Cosco Shipping Ports and in alignment with China's Belt and Road Initiative, Chancay Port is set to have the deepest draft in all of Latin America at 17.8 meters (nearly 60 feet), allowing it to accommodate megaships.
