Safer Roads Treatments for Powered 2/3 wheelers (Motorbikes) There is limited research around on the effectiveness of infrastructure changes to improve PTW safety, especially where PTW volumes are high. Here is the table in the WHO guideline (2nd Addition). There are also treatments that are missing from this short list including non-exclusive (or inclusive) motorcycle lanes (which run on streets/roads with adjoining accesses and sideroads) and motorcycle boxes (advanced stop lines - ASLs). Interested to know of any research out there, especially in LMICs, that adds to the very limit knowledge we have on the role of infrastructure in reducing crashes, especially deaths and serious injuries. I appreciate that there is a lot of other treatments across other pillars of the safe system.
