🚀 Insights from DTW Ignite 2024 Copenhagen: Revolutionizing Collaboration with Commercial Experimentation 🚀
I had the incredible opportunity to join a panel discussion at DTW Ignite yesterday, where I delved into the power of commercial experimentation as the crucial first step in determining whether a collaboration with a startup or partner should move forward.
My team, the Telia Prototype Team, are leading the Telecoms industry with this approach, pioneering a cost-effective yet highly potent methodology to accelerate growth and innovation. By running market-facing experiments on multiple variants of value propositions derived from our strategy, Business development and Innovation process, we ensure that every concept is rigorously tested for its commercial viability in the users context and the outcome is behavioral data that makes decisions less risky and better informed than if only opinion based data is utilized.
The key takeaway: Technology R&D takes a back seat in this process. If we can't validate commercial value from the start, the risk of wasting time and resources on developing technology is exceedingly high. It´s a simple and fast way to understand the key element of SHOW ME THE MONEY.
Through our innovative experimentation method, we not only reduce risk but also foster a culture where bold ideas are tested and refined, leading to breakthrough innovations that truly meet market needs.
Thanks to my co-panelist for a great session and diverse viewpoints
🌟 Proud of the Prototype Team for leading the charge in transforming how we approach growth and innovation! 🌟

Client & Talent Development Manager
3mo10yrs ago, MMI purchased a small boutique firm in Philadelphia that I helped manage. One of the first MMI faces I saw was yours Brian. I’ll never forget how at ease you made me feel thru the acquisition. You were instrumental in my decision to stay on board. And a decade later I thank you for helping elevate my career. I hope we cross paths again.
