The article (starting on page 54) features an interview with Fred Johnson, who has been working with the Posi-Strut system for over 20 years. Fred discusses the system benefits, the market fit, and impact to production numbers. My first mistake when I started selling Wood CPQ in the United Kingdom. During a pitch, I asked the customer how many boards (or panels 😎) he processes per day. The client replied: Roughly 2 "Lauries" a day. Or that's what I understood. I don't know why, but I was embarrassed to ask who is Laurie and why there are two of them. 😅 After we finished talking, I spent about 15 minutes to discover that this Laurie was Lorry. Which Lorry is actually Truck. That's truck in American English. -- Maybe it's not a mistake, but it's clear to me that you have to have a very good understanding of the nuances and neologisms used in the industry in the market you're targeting. Other examples are panel vs board, edging vs edge-banding, cut to size vs cut to measure or bespoke as a variation.
