𝐼 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑎𝑙𝑡! So, there I was, in the kitchen, rushing to make breakfast for my niece. My plan? Whip up a quick, tasty meal before she got too impatient. I was on a roll—cooking like a pro, fried yam and my special sauce—kept me feeling like a kitchen wizard. Then came the first bite after dishing. Oh no. I realized—I forgot the salt. I decided to stay calm, hoping she wouldn’t notice. 😜 But my 4-year-old niece, with her sweet yet blunt honesty, took a bite, paused, and said, “Auntie, thank you ooo, you tried o... but what happened in the kitchen? Did Grandma forget to show you the salt?” 😂 I couldn’t help but laugh at her honesty. 𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁" 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀—𝘁𝗵𝗲 #𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: ✨ Taking time to double-check that project before sending it off. 🤗 Saying “thank you” to a colleague who had your back. 💥 Adding a personal touch to a presentation to make it shine. 🤝 Acknowledging someone’s effort in teamwork. 🚶 Active listening in leadership during busy days. 🧑💻 Daily habits that lead to big changes or taking time for self-care. We often focus so much on the big picture—deadlines, goals, and hustle—that we overlook these small but crucial elements. Those little things? They’re what truly make your effort stand out. Next time you're tackling something, ask yourself: "Have I added the salt? It could make all the difference between “just okay” and unforgettable. And yes, I have to make breakfast for her tomorrow, so I need to triple-check the salt! 😉 #AttentionToDetail #LittleThingsBigImpact #LifeLessons #GrowthMindset #CareerSuccess #KeepLearning #bvlc
