I was catching up with an acquaintance the other day, and things were going great... until HR came up. Let's just say her enthusiasm dimmed a bit when she found out what I do for a living. Why I would have partnered with ME, when I was in HR... Yes thats right if you didn't know 😆 I worked in HR for many years, in various industries and met many many interesting people. I also met some great recruiters, yes thats also right. There are many great ones out there, using their knowledge for good and solving people problems all over. There were also recruiters that you were pretty sure from the first interaction didn't really like their job and didn't really understand the impact that people bring to your business. (Perhaps they had yet to find their 'why', let's hope they've found it....) 😊 My 'why' motivates me everyday to support HR/People professionals to find new adventures via refreshing conversation. 😊 What is 'my why' you ask?  Well its to make your career in HR the best it can be. 😊 What does that look like: - To be the HR recruiter I wanted and needed 15 years ago. - The one that sees the opportunities, doesn't conform to the norms, sees the bigger picture, understands the individual and the business, who wants to make your time in HR and your career as fantastic as it should be and you deserve it to be.  - To be the client partner that was the one I wanted, the one that understood what the daily duties really felt like, what the human responsibilities in HR roles really are comprised of. Was straight forward and honest about timeframes and expectations.
