Mental health is a crucial component of occupational health and safety, as it significantly impacts overall well-being and job performance. A supportive mental health environment can prevent burnout, reduce stress, and improve focus and productivity. Addressing mental health issues helps create a positive work culture, fosters resilience, and enhances employee engagement. Furthermore, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for support can mitigate risks associated with mental strain, leading to fewer absences and lower healthcare costs. Prioritizing mental health ensures a safer, more productive workplace where employees feel valued and capable of performing their best.
