Omnichannel Marketing Strategy & Planner | Customer Acquisition & Retention | CRM | Brand Management | Integrated Marketing | Digital Marketing | Maximize Market Share and Profitability
Yes, I'm already seeing this in my own job search. And I have many other job-seeker friends who are experiencing this as well. I think you see this often in the marketing field, where employers want to assess the skill sets you can bring and make sure that what you say you can do, you can actually do. I'm all for assessments and such if they are really being used to find the best candidate. I'm leery only because of the 'free work' aspect and after spending hours on an assignment, you don't get the job (or are ghosted, which has also happened to me). What are your thoughts on pre-assessments and assignments during the interview process? #jobsearch #marketing #hired

Anoop felt disheartened 24/7 due to: * Lack of direction. * Endless rejection emails. * Lost on adapting applications to different countries' norms. * Struggles in connecting with global employers. * Uncertainty about target companies. His position changed when he discovered CDA. He gained absolute freedom by attaining full control over his international job search, managing 5 questions: * What motivates him in this game? * Which companies does he target? * How does he connect with them? * What skills does he offer? * How does he manage his time effectively using the CDA system? Hear Anoop's raw feedback, as he shares it firsthand. “Before joining CDA: * I had prepared a Resume as per Europe Standard and I used to upload the same resume in Multiple Job Portals like LinkedIn, stepstone etc for multiple Jobs that was matching my experience. * I always faced rejections and didn't understand why. * I thought maybe my knowledge or my education or certifications was the reason how to explain my indepth experience for Rejections. * I didn't know that each time I apply for a Job I should prepare a resume and a cover letter matching that specific Job Roles/Requirements. * Also I didn't know that it’s best to apply in a companies career portal rather than in LinkedIn itself. After Joining CDA, * I understood how to create a short and informative resume which is much effective as it emphasis more on the Job description. * A very effective cover letter that emphasis on why im important to this company and how I could contribute. * It helped me prepare HR related questions on why I choose this company and the background of the company and what I could bring new to this department. Also related to the Roles/Responsibility in a layman language.” Anoop got this result because he accepted where he was wrong & worked with his 100%, you can also be at his position. Today, professionals using CDA are securing 6-figure packages in EUROs, Pounds, and Dollars, with full support for relocation costs. All through CDA’s systems, automation and interview weapons. It's a streamlined, efficient machine. I'm just the one who ensures everything runs smoothly and is well understood. In the end, freedom comes from making the most of your time. I work with thousands of people who have big skill sets and can't get hired. What's going on? What can you do to stand out in the hiring process and land a job? When you're networking and interviewing as a seasoned professional, you're probably giving employers the wrong impression because you're sitting there telling them all your skills, all the things you can do for them, and making it sound like you're a Jack or Jill of all trades. And while you think that's what they want to hear because you're thinking, "I'm the best bang for the buck," that's not what they're hearing. What they're hearing is that you're narcissistic. You're a know-it-all. You're going to be difficult to work with, and you're probably going to leave for more money anyway. Employers don't want that headache. Now, here's how you fix that... Whenever I think of hiring, I always remember what an old colleague said to me: “Most candidates are qualified, but it’s about who is going to be enjoyable to work with.” That’s the point of the interviews but there needs to be data to back up the hiring. Which brings us to assessment and their growing importance. Enter SHL. There assessments are becoming key for hiring in an age where soft skills are more important than ever. Emmy Lucas includes SHL’s findings in this awesome piece detailing the push towards assessments. Worth the read if you’re looking to make a job switch. https://lnkd.in/eWpZb_fQ
