I know it's not Friday, but I believe you should always celebrate a win when you get it. 🌟 Networking pays off, even if the benefits aren't immediate. Recently, I shared how I helped two companies resolve mutual issues through my connections—a true win-win! Last night, during dinner with one of those CEOs, we discussed pricing and marketing. I offered some suggestions, and before we left, he hired my company for a major project! We're treating their family business like a startup, integrating new technology and pricing strategies to boost their growth and profit. Excited for this new venture! 🚀 #KnightEagleConsulting #NetworkingWorks #BusinessGrowth #CelebrateWins

David Haigh and I had to take a minute and do a little happy dance 🕺 💃 recently - here’s why... Bootstrapped from inception, sunday broke even in 6 months. sunday started as a desire by both founders to 'go it alone', harnessing their skills in business operations to support startups in a way that felt successful for everyone involved. It started with a sharing of ideas over a coffee - I was already running my own one woman consultancy, David was keen to hear my story. From this meeting, a clear synergy was formed, and a collaboration was born. After 3 months of time dedicated to strategic thinking, we had a clear vision, culture, service offering and brand. A few weeks later the website was launched, and our networking began. Over the following 3 month period, deliberate and tactical connections were formed to generate the first revenue. While the business continues to expand, after only 6 months, the business broke even, paying off all foundational debt, paying salaries and recording a profit. The 2 best bits of our journey so far: 🚀 We put what we do into practice and we’re reaping the benefits: we’re our own success story. ☀ The culture of the business embodies the company's 'why’: joy, freedom and flexibility. #operations #fragmentedCOO #businessops #startupsuccess

For start-ups: The market defines how large a company can get. The founder/team how large a company will get. Starting a company is always difficult and to have the biggest impact it is critical to work in a large enough market. Have good founder/market fit will increase the chances of winning. The founder will be more qualified and excited (obsessed?) about a certain problem.

Starting a Business? Get a Business Partner Some of the most powerful companies in the world have co-founders. For example, Google (Sergey Brin and Larry Page), Apple (Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs), and Microsoft (Bill Gates and Paul Allen). When you're at the helm of a budding startup, it can be scary. But, as the old saying goes, "Two heads are better than one." Having a partner can help to ease the pressure and stress that comes with running a business. He or she may have complementary skills, provide emotional support, and be on hand to help out with the day-to-day. And an alternate perspective may help to broaden your vision and avoid the risk of mistakes being overlooked. #business #businesspartner #bizexcelpartner
