I'm a strong believer in the power of intentional #officedesign. Social spaces in the workplace are so important for employee morale, creativity, and collaboration. The now-defunct "Wing" prioritized design and each one of them I visited inspired me and got my creative juices flowing. When designing office interiors, things like cafés, lounges, game rooms, and outdoor areas should be prioritized just as much as conference rooms and private offices. These shared spaces give employees a chance to take a break, spark conversations, and build connections with coworkers. Research shows companies that invest in these types of amenities have higher retention rates, productivity, and job satisfaction from their employees.
