Excellent read as always! I would suggest that almost all of us have become gatekeepers at some point in our careers, often accidently, with no malice intended. Recognising the potential pitfalls of gatekeeping is key - so I strongly recommend taking 2 minutes to read this!

Fantastic blog, absolutely spot on. As a fellow NFL fan I'm delighted to see the interest and excitement that has been brought - the toxicity of gatekeepers in this and other settings needs called out and challenged for the discrimination and nonsense that it is.

Taylor Swift is like the Superbowl of pop music at the moment, so it's a powerful nexus! Great point about gatekeeping, it can be good, and also very much used to limit and prevent progress.
