SeparateSpace is a TechRound AITech35 winner 🎉🎉🎉 Nestled among some truly inspirational businesses, spanning healthcare to climate change, there we are! And we couldn't be more excited about it - because behind the scenes, we're building and testing a new function for our SeparateSpace members. It's called Atla AI. Leveraging generative AI technology, Atla AI will help SeparateSpace members navigate the complex and often confusing journey of divorce. It will answer users’ questions in real time and signpost to additional resources and information. Importantly, it builds on our ethos that divorce is not just a legal problem - Altla AI will be trained on expertise from multiple domains: legal, financial and emotional. More to come from us on all of this later in the year. What connects Ukrainian industry, AI, and Brussels? The UNIDO projects that support sustainable industrial development and enhance the competitiveness of our industrial sector. I had the pleasure of meeting with Christophe Yvetot UNIDO’s representative to the EU, and his team. It was a friendly and inspiring conversation. In August, UNIDO presented the Mapping the use of artificial intelligence in priority sectors and the competitiveness of Ukraine. The document explores how AI impacts economic development, highlighting the differences in the adoption of technologies across various sectors. In short, Ukraine is demonstrating results that sometimes exceed its resources and scale. I'm sharing the link to the document for those interested in details on patents, venture investments, scientific publications, and trends. I’ll share the most interesting insights separately in the future. We discussed the prospects of attracting investment into digitalization and the role of our projects in the recovery process. We agreed to collaborate on implementing the recommendations to increase the integration of AI into the industry. Thank you to our partners at UNIDO for all their work! The local AI movement continues to build momentum. Don't blink. (I'm serious!) Real flags are being planted, especially around #ResponsibleAI. Groups like #Cincy AI for Humans continue to pack the University of Cincinnati’s UC Digital Futures building, proving that the progress is not only real and meaningful but wonderfully authentic. Startups like my own BrandRank.AI are popping up. Another group, CAIC (Cincy AI Catalyst, which I co-founded with Carl Fraik, is pushing responsible AI, AI in education, startup creation, and putting the Midwest on the national map. On top of that yet another force, the Enterprise Technology Association (led by Summer Crenshaw) is spearheading with CAIC and other groups are pushing Cincy AI Week June 11-13 (yes right around the corner). It was an incredible experience speaking alongside Idan Gurel at the Guild #Product Meetup this week at Wix, where I explored how #VerticalAI and #GenerativeAI are reshaping industries, including maritime. I spoke about how, at Windward, we combine deep domain expertise with cutting-edge GenAI to solve unique challenges like vessel behavioral analysis, anomaly detection, and supply chain exceptions. Idan Gurel followed with superb insights about how Natural Intelligence is scaling its campaigns using GenAI deep in its processes in a way unimaginable before. During the session, Idan and I shared insights into how structured approaches to AI strategy and implementation can create scalable, impactful solutions. We also discussed practical takeaways for product managers: the importance of prompt engineering, building GenAI platforms for rapid customization, and focusing on solving high-value, unique problems. The questions from the product managers in the crowd showed how the Israeli tech companies rapidly adopted Gen AI, and I believe it will enable the next wave of growth in Israeli tech.
