How are you today? Why should you donate to Gold For Kids and not direct to children’s charities? This is such a great question, so let us explain.
We are drawing on untapped potential cash from dental clinics across the UK and we can raise so much more by enrolling dentists to donate their patients' unwanted crowns and bridge work and other dental restorations. These all contain precious metals which have a cash value. We also ask the public to donate their unwanted, old or broken gold jewellery for the same reason.
Dental practices can also suggest charities who are aligned with our mission to address child poverty in the UK, no matter the size, big or small, to apply for money from our grant funding.
Recycling in bulk also minimises processing costs and no profit is retained from the value of the metals. So by donating to Gold for Kids instead of to charities directly, we are able to make an even bigger impact to many more children who desperately need our help.
If you would like any other information or if you have a question to ask us, please email info@goldforkids.org. Thank you.
