Last week I had the opportunity to moderate a fantastic panel discussion with Rosie McWhorter, CAMS, CFE, CFCS, CRC, Kasra Zamani, and Mahesh Muthu, hosted by the ACAMS Central Texas Chapter . The crypto industry is rapidly evolving, and so are the challenges it presents in terms of AML and KYC compliance. We delved into these issues, discussing the unique hurdles faced by crypto firms in identifying AML risks. To address these challenges, we explored how industry players are adapting by adopting best practices, leveraging innovative technologies, upskilling people, and fostering collaboration with regulators to create a robust and compliant ecosystem. As well as supporting, aiding, and collaborating with both Veteran and Non-Veteran business and non-profit owners to reach higher success in Wisconsin through the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce (WVCC). Real leadership champions look like this. It's not something most have, because it is a character trait that was taught at a young age. I'd estimate that less than 20% of the population has this type of character. But it's not on purpose. Most don't think about it, or even realize they don't have it, or care. EVERYONE thinks they have good character, yet they don't put others first for various reasons/excuses. Real champions don't need all the praise & glory. They know it takes a team, and they appreciate the talent of others, who help them thrive. The #1 champions in every profession, give credit to others around them. They recognize the people around them, that contribute to their success.

I’ll be presenting at the Jersey Productivity Conference in a few weeks and I have a great process map to share which gives an insight into public sector waste and how it affects the social sector. The first step to change is realising what the process is and how much the waste costs. There is so much we can do if we have the data and the motivation to improve.
