Please see MN Statute 326.107 for details on continuing education ("CE"; also referred to as "professional development hours" or "PDH") requirements. This page is an overview only. *** The Board does not have a list of specific continuing education programs or activities available to complete the CE requirement. THE BOARD DOES NOT PRE-APPROVE ANY CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDERS. *** In choosing continuing education, make your selections based upon the knowledge of the presenter, their ability to provide the documentation you will need if you are audited by the Board, and whether the content forwards your development as a licensed professional. In other words, select continuing education based upon your assessment of its ability to meet the requirements in Minnesota Statutes, section 326.107. https://lnkd.in/gx7PQbp

5 top tips for a stress-free CPD finish 🔢 Welcome to this week’s #CPDFridays where we’re sharing information and advice to guide you smoothly over the CPD finish line before midnight (UK time) on Friday 5 April. 1. If it’s relevant to your work, you can record it Most activities relevant to your PR work, but not part of your day job count towards CIPR CPD. If your learning isn’t listed on the CPD database or hosted by the CIPR, you can submit a ‘custom’ activity. You’ll need to upload evidence – this could be a certificate, confirmation email or screenshot. 2. Custom submissions may not appear right away We validate all custom submissions so these can take up to 48 hours to appear on your CPD record, especially as we get nearer to the deadline. Submit your custom activity before the CPD deadline and it will be counted. 3. Remember to log five for ethics Every member needs to log 5 mandatory points for an ethics activity to complete CPD. Explore our new ‘Ethics in PR’ on-demand training course and our ‘Everyday Ethics’ case study collection, both free to members and worth 5 CPD points. https://lnkd.in/ej23Gtn2 https://lnkd.in/dqVNG56z 4. Check your activity dates Make sure activities occurred within the current CPD cycle (1 April 2023 – 5 April 2024) to count towards your total points. If new activities don’t appear in your points total, this could be the reason. 5. After you’ve hit the submit button CPD completion emails are sent at 06:30 GMT daily. If you don’t receive yours immediately, don’t worry – your CPD congratulations message is on its way. Make progress with your CPD today and log into MyCPD: www.cipr.co.uk/mycpd Good luck! #InvestInCPD #PR #Publicrelations

🌟 The Importance of Ethical Codes in Education🌟 As educators, we hold a profound responsibility to our students, colleagues, and communities. Ethical codes serve as our guiding principles, ensuring that we foster an environment of trust, respect, and integrity. 🔍 Why are Ethical Codes Crucial? 1. Trust Building*: Ethical behavior cultivates a safe space for students to learn and grow. When educators adhere to high standards, it builds trust among students and parents. 2. Professional Integrity: Upholding ethical standards reflects our commitment to the profession. It sets a benchmark for accountability and excellence in teaching. 3. Equity and Fairness: Ethical codes emphasize the importance of treating all students with fairness and respect, promoting an inclusive learning environment. 4. Role Modeling*: Educators are role models. By demonstrating ethical behavior, we inspire our students to develop strong moral values and decision-making skills. 5. Continuous Improvement: Ethical codes encourage ongoing reflection and professional development, helping educators to adapt and grow in an ever-changing landscape. Let’s commit to upholding these ethical standards in our daily practice. Together, we can create a positive impact on future generations! 🌱 #Education #Ethics #Integrity #ProfessionalDevelopment #Teaching
