🌍💼 Embracing a Hybrid Future: Enhancing Connection and Productivity in the New Work Landscape 💼🌍 As we mark nearly five years since the onset of COVID-19, it's clear that our approach to work has undergone a profound evolution. According to recent studies highlighted by Forbes Advisor, nearly 30% of full-time employees now work in a hybrid model, with an overwhelming 98% desiring some form of hybrid schedule by 2025. This shift is not just about where we work but how we stay connected and engaged. The importance of fostering social connections within organizations cannot be overstated. Harvard Business School emphasizes that proximity to coworkers fosters productivity, collaboration, and a sense of value among team members. At Burgess & Niple (B&N), we recognize these benefits and are committed to enhancing our hybrid work environment to ensure our team remains connected and inspired. Here are some strategies we've implemented: 📢 Over communication: Utilizing tools like Teams and our Intranet to keep our team informed and connected. 🏢 Making in-office days count: Redesigning our office spaces to encourage meaningful interactions and collaboration. 🤝 Offering mentoring programs: Supporting our younger team members with valuable mentorship and learning opportunities. ☀️ Creating a Culture Committee: Engaging our staff in fun initiatives to boost positivity and foster camaraderie. 📈 Checking in often: Ensuring clear expectations and providing necessary resources for our team's success. In this hybrid world, investing in employee engagement isn't just beneficial—it's essential. By prioritizing connection and flexibility, we're not only enhancing morale and productivity but also driving sustainable growth and innovation. How is your organization navigating the shift to hybrid work? Share your thoughts below! The word “Somewhere” embodies so much of where we're headed and the values we hold dear: • Global opportunity. We're about unlocking the potential of the global workforce. Businesses shouldn't be constrained by geography, and talented individuals shouldn't be limited by their zip code. • Remote work done right. Remote work offers incredible benefits – flexibility, cost-savings, access to diverse talent pools – but only when done thoughtfully. The name Somewhere embodies this vision of being the destination for both job seekers and companies alike in this new talent landscape. (Plus, it was easier to spell 😉) What do you think of our new name and look?

In the heart of Europe lies a small country with big ambitions – Luxembourg 🇱🇺 Yet, recruiting in the grand duchy is riddled with challenges. Here's how we've embraced an international approach to sourcing talent at Talkwalker: 1. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 Agence pour le développement de l'emploi (ADEM) : Talkwalker proactively declares job openings to ADEM, fostering a strong partnership and ensuring access to local talent. Surprisingly, this practice is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 standard across all companies. 2. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Luxembourg's work permit application process is straightforward, facilitating efficient hiring procedures. 3. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁: The ADEM's list of 30 expedited work permit jobs includes five in the IT sector, aligning with Talkwalker's hiring needs. This initiative addresses talent shortages and expedites the hiring process for crucial roles like software developers, infrastructure administrators, product managers, and even recruiters. 4. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Recent legislation enables trailing spouses to enter the labour market immediately. This opens up a previously overlooked talent pool. 👉 If you're part of my 9.000 connections located outside Luxembourg and eager to find opportunities here, familiarize yourself with this process *𝙀𝘿𝙄𝙏 - 𝙄'𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩, 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙚!* 💬 If you're a company in Luxembourg that does not leverage these tools, why not? 🤔 💬 If you're a recruiter in Luxembourg, what are other challenges you face when talking to foreign candidates? Are you choosing your work mobile phone strategy? It can be tricky! 😵💫 The office people, the remote people, the regional people, the domestic travellers, the international travellers, the field team, the on-site engineers, the senior leadership team. ↳ They all have different connectivity needs. 📶 🛜 The IT team, the finance team, the operations team, the sustainability team. ↳ They all need different reports and insights to do their jobs. 👩💻 And yet, in 2024 the trickiest thing for mobile networks seems to be a hub where you can reassign your team's SIMs in a couple of clicks! 🤦 You get what you pay for. ↳ Book a demo to learn more about Honest Mobile, so you can spend less time managing your team's phones, and more time ticking off that to-do list! https://lnkd.in/gy7kEsiJ

Tomorrow marks 1️⃣ month at allwhere. Here are 4️⃣ things that have stuck out to me in my first four weeks: 🔥 Our product-market fit is strong. Both IT and HR teams need allwhere because they have zero standardization across asset management, procurement, and logistics. 🏆 I'm surrounded by colleagues with their eyes on the prize. Everyone–literally, everyone–works SO hard to make it happen every. single. day. 👀 We're scaling the smart way: saying 'no' to asks outside of our current scope, working with our customers to prioritize feature requests, and making choices responsibly that contribute to our growth. ⚡️Our culture is powered by trust and communication. Slack is on fire every day. I'm not hesitant to ask questions because answers are shared (almost) immediately. I was ramped after 1 week and trusted to start taking calls solo. We are all rowing the boat together! I made the right choice coming to work at allwhere. See our open roles here ⬇️ #workeverywhere
