That's the topic of this short film we made over the spring and summer, with the help of farmers in Brazil, the US and the UK who wanted to show us the tough and pernicious weeds they battle with every day to protect their harvests. We feel your pain, Kelly Degelman - and we’re working on a solution. Kochia is one of the tough and pernicious weeds on which we’ve just been field-trialling some of our novel herbicides - and the good news is that the results so far have been excellent.

We can finally reveal our big news! The results are in from our northern hemisphere spring field trials, and they are amazing. Some of our novel compounds are already outperforming commercially available herbicides in the field, which is especially impressive given they haven't been optimised yet! Is the idea behind Moa Technology hundreds of million years old? Our co-founder, Dublin-born Liam Dolan (Ó Dubhláin) has a great interview in the Irish Independent newspaper about his research at the University of Oxford into the early evolution of plants from algae, which gave him the knowledge and insight to see how the modern day global problem of weed resistance to herbicides might be tackled. #agtech #weedscience #wisesage
