The recently released Prequin 2024 Women in Alternatives report provides insights into the representation of women in the alternatives workplace. The report shows that while progress has been made, there is still significant room for improvement in gender diversity. Shockingly, just over a fifth of people working in alternative assets are women, with only a quarter of employees working for institutional investors being women. It is clear that more effort is needed to promote gender equality and diversity in this industry. We must continue to push for progress and positive change.
